Why I’ve Been off the Whiskyon Jul 26 in Editorial by dan
Enjoy drinking whisky? If you are anything like me you will understand the pain of a whisky lover on a whisky ban.
In some ways this post is an apology to the people who read and follow this blog expecting the reviews, humor, insutry news and reviews you have some to expect. I have been inactive here for around a month or so now and I am going to attempt to tell you why.
What could be worth a month off the Whisky?
I am doing a little work out called routine. Now crash course weight loss programs are not a topic I would usually cover, however I am trying to explain why I am off the sauce for a bit.
“The INSANITY® workout might just be the hardest fitness program ever put on DVD.The secret to these mind-blowing INSANITY workout results: MAX Interval Training.”
I found this crazy 60 day workout plan which is as the title explains insane. Its called insanity and it works you damn near to death. On this course you get your food planned out for you, and booze is just a big ‘no no’. Besides lying on the floor in a pool of sweat feeling like you are going to puke isn’t conducive to even wanting a whisky.
…but it is working. So its worth it.
… OK I bought a boat that im also repairing
This takes a long time and is hard work, less time for tweets and whisky. She is a beauty though, a 1984 Benetau first 35. Going to do her up and sell her on.
So there you have it… I’ve been missing for a while and that is why. Please forgive this inexcusable lapse in judgement, normal service will resume ASAP. In the mean time I have been drinking vicariously through some great whisky blogs.
